Happy Summer Solstice! The upcoming Summer Solstice marks the first day of summer. To the ancients, this was a time of honoring blessings received and those to come. The Summer Solstice pays homage to the Power of Light (God). It is a time of renewal and release of what is not in Harmony. The power of this Solstice Sun illuminates any area of our lives that requires surrendering to the past. Its rays illuminate our potential to Transcend ourselves! Individually and collectively, situations may arise this month that cause us to question or reaffirm what is Truth for us. The events of the last months may resurface so that they can be re-examined. This is a good thing. Consider June a reality check - a time of introspection and thoughtful action. It is an opportunity to make right. We will be required to look beyond the dramas and illusions to ascertain if our recent decisions were based in Truth or denial. June reveals to those that have the eyes to see what is not Real, so that course corrections can be made. Living truthfully requires that we first look within (know thyself), understand our motivations, work towards healing what is out of balance, and reconcile the disparate aspects of ourselves. The energies of June call us out of the sidelines and offers us the impetus to tap into our inner resourcefulness so that we may live more wholly. The earth has been showered in Light these last 7-10 days. Light illuminates everything - so it may feel disconcerting or agitating to us and stir up our fears. In actuality, it holds great promise if we allow ourselves to shake off our unease. Breathe. It is a significant time to clear old patterns. The Light comes to clarify us, heal, and to empower our greater good. Make room for it in your Being. We are asked to sit with these questions: Why is it so frightening to change? To feel more? Or to even to be in touch with the world? Really sit with them. What comes up for you? Allow what comes up to come through. Honor what it has to say. Now, give yourself permission to forgive, choose differently, and to heal. Return to Center. Ground your energy to Mother Earth and Heaven and you will feel safe. Affirm: I make Home Now. By this intention, you are affirming your Divine Worth and that you are supported by a Loving Universe.
Going forward, notice and give Gratitude for all of the Good present in your life. It will loosen the hold of fear and free your dreams. Despite outer appearances, we are blessed to live in a time of tremendous potential. Nothing is impossible. Everything is IN-possible if we believe in ourselves and act from our personal best. The Light of the Sun (Son) shines within us. It is Us that must grant it permission to shine through us. Say yes! In Light, we reconnect to our power and become co-creators of a new and better world.
