I am a member of and grateful for the Alliance for American Quits, where hundreds of quilter's stories have been collected.  This alliance or coming together of powerful quilt members makes it possible for quilts, an important part of our heritage in this country, to be preserved.  When people join forces to attain a specific goal the resulting energy can be very healing.
