What is your dream? What do you really want? One thing that I want is to finish my projects. It feels so good to me to get stuff done. So, I practice my art; I practice completing my drawings and quilts, one step at a time, and enjoying the process. When I finish something, I feel good. Then I move on and begin the next thing, work to finish and then begin again, acting as if my dream is already true, I already have the life of creativity-the life of an artist. The life within is the perfect life.
I am acting as if all of my quilts are already sold! :-))

Linda Gass is an environmental artist whose work is informed by the wilderness, maps, aerial photography and her activist passions. Linda works primarily in textiles; her most recent stitched paintings on silk explore land use and water issues by portraying aerial views of the human marks on our landscape. She has also done textile land art installations. Linda is beginning to working in glass as well, exploring how to translate her work into a new medium.

Ulla de Larios: My attachment to fiber art and procedures is at the very core of who I am. I am a knitter, spinner, I crochet, embroider, dyeand more. However, my focus lies in weaving, which I learned from my Grandmother in Sweden and which provides me with the most freedom and variety to create. During many years I made home textiles and clothing for my family and have in the process learned the essential craftsmanship that is needed to expand and advance my art.
