Dear Corazon de Vida Angels,

It is hard to believe that we are completing our 18th year of serving the children of Baja! Since 1994 we have fed thousands of children, we have relieved pain, we have helped educate students, we have made dreams come true. We have done all of this TOGETHER. We truly could not have helped so many without your support. You are part of a dedicated group of caring and compassionate Angels who have stepped forward to join CDV as we work to eradicate homelessness and poverty in Baja. Thank you for your partnership.

May the blessings you have so generously shared with the children come back to you multiplied!

2013 Orphanage Trip Update

OUR ORPHANAGE TRIPS IN 2012 have been very popular as every bus was sold out with long wait lists. The kids truly look forward to your visit and appreciate the time you spend with them.

Starting with the February 16 trip to El Faro & Los Angelitos, we will increase the bus fee to $50.00 per person. Transportation, food, and craft costs have skyrocketed and we are not covering our trip expenses. This is our first increase in 7 years and the additional funds will allow us to continue the trips.

We are also creating an online donation page for each trip that has a goal of $2000 for orphanage food after our visit. Before we depart, we will do a ceremony with the children to let them know how much YOU raised to help.

Holiday Donation Campaign 2012

WE ARE ON OUR WAY to reaching our goal $75,000 for 4th quarter fundraising. Our staff is humbled with your support and belief in our work to help the children. We wish that we can personally thank everyone who created a pledge page, asked for donations, and put in the effort to help. On behalf of the children we serve living in Baja orphanages - GRACIAS!

The online campaign is available until December 31. Please create your own donation page and help us reach for the stars. Click HERE to begin. Your efforts will continue our work to sustain life for many orphan and abandoned children.

TEAM CDV - BEYOND 26.2, is our new theme and logo for our athletic running, biking, & triathlon teams. How do you like our logo above? Our first event is the LOS ANGELES MARATHON on Sunday March 17, 2013. Run for TEAM CDV and the kids. For more information, please see our TEAM CDV webpage.

THE ORPHANAGES & CDV NEED VEHICLES to get kids to school and for other errands. Many of their vehicles are unsafe, leaving them stranded on the side of the road. Please donate your operational vehicles to CDV, we'll provide tax deduction documents.
