Meet Our Kids
|
MEET CECILIA, 2nd semester psychology student at UABC, Ensenada campus. She understood at 14 years old that living at home with an unstable, broken family in extreme poverty, was not going to give her a chance in life. She made the difficult decision to enter an orphanage where she would be safe and have a chance for an education. She excelled in junior high and high school,then passing the difficult UABC test. Cecelia is well on her way to becoming a psychologist.
We have asked her why she choose psychology and she said " Because one day, I want to return to help children who are struggling with life and perhaps with my experiences and education, I can help them overcome their challenges like I did." Education will stop the cycle of child homelessness, Cecelia is proof of that. We have hundreds of other children under our wings that feel they have no hope, but every single one of them have dreams. Together with your help, we will build future leaders and make those dreams come true.

THE ORPHANAGES & CDV NEED VEHICLES to get kids to school and for other errands. Many of their vehicles are unsafe, leaving them stranded on the side of the road. Please donate your operational vehicles to CDV, we'll provide tax deduction documents.
