Last year, over 200 mental health professionals, community leaders and educators attended the conference. Please plan to join us this year, on June 12 & 13, for claritycon2014: a conference on children's mental health, Clarity Child Guidance Center will host this powerful day and a half conference on children's mental health at the El Tropicano Riverwalk. We will have nationally-known speakers and thought-provoking presentations. Two breakfasts, lunch, and snacks will also be included with your paid registration. The keynote and luncheon speakers for this 1.5-day conference are:
- Thursday, 6/12 Keynote - Understanding Children with Learning & Behavioral Challenges: Successful Approaches to Supporting Students - Ellen Braaten, Ph.D. - Psychologist, researcher, television contributor & author.
- Thursday, 6/12 Luncheon - A Mother's Journey - Kay Warren - co-founder of Saddleback Church, with her husband Rick.
- Friday, 6/13 Keynote - ADHD: Managing Complicated and Difficult-to-Treat Cases - Steven Pliszka, MD - Medical Director of Clarity CGC Outpatient Psychiatry Services, and Chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UTHSCSA.
