Last Farmers' Market Canceled Due to Rain; CSA Pickups at SMAMS Office
Our last farmers' market (10/19) has been canceled due to a forecast of rain and thunderstorms. People who have CSA shares with Langwater Farm can pick up their weekly share at the SMAMS office - next to Eastern Bank, in the REAR of the Carruth Building at Ashmont Station.
This was the market's best year ever, with new vendors and record turnouts almost every week.
Thanks to our fantastic volunteers who made this market a success! Tim Deihl, Javier Fernandez, Rosanne Foley, Margaret Lamb, Marc Poisson, Vicki Rugo, Julie Simmons, Judy Tuttle, intern Catherine Droser, and Meaghan Overton, Rapaport Public Policy Fellow with the City's Office of Business Development.
Thanks also to our vendors: Cedar Grove Gardens; Dorchester Arts Collaborative; Langwater Farm; Red's Best Seafood; Spring Brook Farm; and Tavolo Ristorante
And thanks to our host the MBTA , market sponsor Eastern Bank, and district sponsors Carney Hospital, Trinity Financial, CWC Builders, WinnResidential, Boston Main Streets, and the Boston Main Streets Foundation. See you next year!
