 | STUFFED ANIMAL DRIVE FOR PEDIATRIC STROKE AWARENESS
| Wasatch Hills member, Lori Gibbs Brown, is collecting new or like-new stuffed animals for a stuffed animal drive entitled Noah's Kuddles for Kids. Six-year old Noah Russell (the son of a friend and former classmate of hers from Campion Academy and Union College) died suddenly in March of this year from a pediatric stroke. In hopes of saving another child, all stuffed animals collected will be given a special tag with pediatric stroke information, and then donated to Primary Children's Hospital to be given to all pediatric patients. A bin will be set up in the coat closet at the church labeled "Noah's Kuddles for Kids". Contact Lori at brown.lori.slc@gmail.com, with any questions. Thank you in advance for your donations! (Note: This is a private party program. Therefore, it does not qualify for tax deductions through Wasatch Hills.) |
Greeter meeting this Sabbath
right after the church service
Mother's room (behind AV booth)
|
|
Greeting is one of the most important functions on a Sabbath, I think we would all agree. When there are enough volunteers, it is only an hour to an hour and a half - per month - of duty! If you are shy, this is a great way to meet others! Please contact Karen Borg if you are willing to volunteer in this fun, and necessary, position. You are also welcome to join the greeter meeting this Sabbath! MORE GREETERS NEEDED!
