A NOTE FROM
PS. CASE

The summer is quickly drawing to an end. School has started and the nights are getting cooler. I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your prayers and support at the passing of my grandfather. My family and I are going to be in Ohio for the funeral this weekend. It will be a big weekend at Wasatch with Chef Anthony and the Waterski Bash. We will miss you, but it will be good for us to spend time with family. Pastor Zach and I transition next Monday to Union meetings in Arizona. Then we get back in time for the church campout. As you've seen, the church campout is followed closely by the school campout. During this time, we will also be having a wonderful week of spiritual emphasis with Herb Montgomery. Phew! Then we can finally get into a rhythm just in time for Thanksgiving. God is good and I wanted to take a moment and express my appreciation for you. Thanks for being a part of our church family. |

Farewell to the Morse family - this Sabbath
|  Sadly, we are losing another great family due to their move across the country. :( Join us in a special vegan potluck this Sabbath in honor of the Morse family who we will be bidding a fond farewell as they move to Iowa this next week. We hate to see this awesome family leave us but know God has great adventures in store for them in the future. The Morse family (Dave, Jen, Brandon, & Dillon) are vegans so it would be really cool and appreciated if you could bring a favorite vegan dish to share at the fellowship lunch.

Back to School Waterski Bash!

Come enjoy a fun day of water sports. We have 2 ski boats dedicated to our fun, and you can rent other items, such as rafts & kayaks, at the rental store on location, or bring your own. Veggie hot dogs, condiments, and drinks provided. You bring the side dishes, towels, sunscreen and beach chairs. You will not have to pay as you go through the gate. Just tell the attendant you are with our church and they will add it to the tab. Please carpool because we will be charged per car, not per person. Update: we will not be renting a pavilion this year but will meet on one of the public beaches in the vicinity of the beach house or nearby cabanas. Look for a blue EZ-Up on the beach. Please bring your beach umbrellas/EZ-Ups, beach toys, etc. Lots of fun in the sun! |

Fall Spiritual Emphasis with Herb Montgomery

Sept. 2 - 10, 2016
This is a 10-consecutive night series. Since the church campout is the first weekend, Mr. Montgomery will be giving his first two sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings at the campout site at 7 p.m. each night. At the Wasatch Hills church location for those not at the campout, Mr. Montgomery will be presenting his first two sessions at 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on Sabbath morning, Sept. 3. Then the continuation of the series will be at the church location only each evening at 7 p.m. Sun., Sept. 4 through Fri., Sept. 10, with the final 2 sessions on Sabbath, Sept. 10, also at 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Midweek Renewal Resumes Sept. 14
| 
This mid-week Bible study meets each Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Young Adult classroom. Various themes are chosen and studied. Open to all. No childcare provided.

Monthly Potluck &
Visitor Lunches
|  Our church-wide potlucks are scheduled for the 2nd Sabbath of the month, with a few exceptions here and there - such as with September. It will be on Sept. 17 as that is the Sabbath the kids club meetings resume. After September, it will always take place on the 2nd Sabbath unless there is a notice otherwise.
Our visitor lunches will resume on Sept. 10. These are open to church visitors and members who would like to stay. We just ask our regular attendees to bring a dish to help out. Also, we are looking for more participants to join the teams, or create your own from your friends. It is only 2-3 times per quarter. Thanks! |

Adventurers & Pathfinders - Sept. 17!
|
Your children are personally invited to be part of our exciting children's ministry programs that will start Sabbath, September 17. Though this first time is on the 3rd Sabbath, they will normally meet on the 2nd Sabbath of each month during the school year. The program highlights our children's ministry with an emphasis for the kids and by the kids. Adventurers (ages 4-9) and Pathfinders (ages 10+) will be meeting from 1:15-3:30 pm with many fun things planned for the year. These are not exclusive clubs. We want you to be able to come and join in whenever you can. Try it out. We'd love to have you! Note: the church potluck Sabbaths coincide with the club meeting Sabbaths for your convenience!  |

Women's Bible Study - Sept. 23

The Women's Bible study will be starting up again on Friday evening September 23. We will be continuing our study in Chapter 5 of the book, Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, by Joanna Weaver. We will be meeting at 7pm at Tania's home:
