Our condolences go out to Pastor Adam Case, Laurella and Joshua, at this time of their loss.  Ps. Case's grandfather passed away last night.  He fell last Sabbath and broke his hip, had surgery to relieve pain, and slipped away quickly.  Last evening while addressing this possibility at the board meeting, Ps. Case brought to mind this promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Come Soon, Lord Jesus!

POTLUCK THIS SABBATH

1 p.m.
George Washington Park
From the church, go east on I-80 towards Park City.  Take the East Canyon exit, turn left under the fwy overpass; turn right on the frontage road toward Mountain Dell Golf Course; continue past the golf course until you almost reach the end of the road where you will see the sign pointing to the George Washington Park at its' entrance on the left.  Follow the road through the trees, then through the parking lot, and it will circle around a little park area.  That is where we will be.  You may park around the perimeter.
