THANK YOU!
We had an awesome Cave Quest Vacation Bible School last week. We averaged about 65 kids each night with about the same number of volunteers. Many kids brought neighbors and friends. Each night it was so inspiring to hear an excited audience shout out with enthusiasm, "Follow Him!" Thanks everyone for your help, support, and participation. Let's do it again next year---June 12-16, 2017. Save the date!

Our Condolences
to the family of Jim Brooks, long-time former member of Wasatch Hills, who passed away on Feb. 20, 2016, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Leona, his daughter, Karen, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Jim liked to keep his connection with friends at Wasatch Hills and updated his address a couple of years ago. If you would like to send your condolences to his wife and family, the address is 1250 King St. E., Oshawa, Ontario, Canada L1H 7Y8.
  A special prayer request from Dan Jackson:
I am requesting that you activate your NAD 'prayer chain' throughout the next seven days.  I am asking you to pray that God will open the hearts of legislators in the State of California to His will as they deliberate proposed Bill 1146 on discrimination.  Should this Bill pass there could be very serious consequences for our institutions of higher learning and all religious, faith based, institutions in that state.  God bless you for doing this.

Everyone Welcome!

The Lord's Supper
The Lord's Supper symbolizes our acceptance of the body and blood of Jesus, spilled and broken for us.

Foot-washing ~
By searching our hearts and washing one another's feet, we remember Jesus' humble example of service. The Master ordained the service of foot-washing to signify renewed cleansing, to express a willingness to serve one another in Christlike humility, and to unite our hearts in love.

Emblems of His body and blood ~
The Lord's Supper is a participation in the emblems of the body and blood of Jesus as an expression of faith in Him, our Lord and Saviour. In this experience of communion Christ is present to meet and strengthen His people. As we partake, we joyfully proclaim the Lord's death until He comes again. Preparation for the Supper includes self-examination, repentance, and confession.

The communion service is open to all believing Christians.

Youth Pastor "Introducation"
Pt. 2 (3 part series)

Hello Wasatch Hills Church family.  This is Ps. Case.  I'm excited to announce, that as of July 1, Zachary Parks will be joining our ministry team to serve as an associate pastor.  His emphasis will be our youth and young adults.  It's going to be exciting to welcome him to Wasatch.  Over the next few weeks we will get to learn a little more about him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I can remember, even as a little kid, always wanting to be baptized. This special event occurred the day after my 13th birthday. On February 25, 2006 I had the distinct privilege of being baptized by my father. Few things in life can come close to the beauty of that moment. For me it was one of the most exciting
  High school graduation
 moments of my life as I got to share with everyone around me how important Jesus was to me and how much he did in my life on a daily basis.
     In 2008 I began high school. At this age it became more of a joint decision between my parents and I  whether or not I would attend high school or would stay at home, and every single year I made the decision to stay at home. During this time piano lessons became increasingly important as I played for more and more events and grew in both my classical abilities as well as learning to play by ear. During this time I had been swimming on a local swim team for exercise. This was a wonderful strengthening opportunity for me both physically and mentally as I made the decisions not to compete on Sabbath but to continue to go to practices. This afforded me the opportunity to begin teaching group swimming lessons at the age of 14. My first experience in a paying work environment, this was a huge blessing from God. I was able to begin making money which allowed me to learn good budgeting skills as well as to pick up an every day skill in teaching! After a while the coach of our swim team (the very person who had asked me to start teaching lessons) asked me to be assistant coach for the team.
     Throughout high school I continued my walk with Jesus. I learned to ask questions and to grapple with concepts, but did that while always maintaining a firm belief and faith in His goodness and guidance. I had some amazing opportunities to compete in and win major piano competitions as well as gain working experience at the pool. My very last year in high school (2011) was my first year of work at Big Lake Youth camp. It was here that I got my first experience putting Jesus to practical everyday use for kids. I discovered that there is nothing that I enjoy as much as helping somebody discover the joy of what Jesus wants to do in all of our lives. He not only saves, but promises not to leave us where He found us. I graduated my final year of high school (still at home) with an online charter school and was able to speak for my non-virtual graduation (attended by nearly 2000 people) in the Salem Oregon Conference Center.
