You've Already Got One
Some of you have heard my story about how God blessed my wife and I with a house many years ago, and then seven years later we lost the house. If you haven't heard the story I'd be happy to share it with you sometime.
In my prayer time a number of days ago I was asking God if I would every own a home again. I would like a garden, a house big enough to have a prayer room, a yard, a guest bedroom, and the list could go on.
As I was journaling my thoughts and prayers to God, clearly God told me, "You've already Got One."
My mind was jolted into a higher state of alertness as the phrase ran through my mind. What do you mean, God, "I've already GOT one?" God brought to my mind, that I've got a mansion. I sat in stunned silence. Then my mind turned to excitement as I realized the deep truth of that.
I don't own a house, I may never own a house again. But I have a mansion, waiting for me, in Heaven. For the first time since we lost our house I was filled with excitement. Excitement in the knowledge that God was taking care of me and that "I had a house!" A house in heaven!

NUC has new President

We are super excited to have reached a conclusion to our presidential search.
As of last night, Dr. Leon Brown, Sr. has agreed to be the next president of the Nevada Utah Conference.
I imagine the transition will take a few weeks, possibly even leading into July, but this is all speculation on my part.
Regardless we are thankful the search process is over.
We pray that Elder Brown can continue the momentum that was started with Elder Keyes.

SCA MOVIE NIGHT

Our Home and School has put together a social evening for May 14. It will begin with a vespers at 8:30 and will progress into a movie night showing the Disney movie "Inside Out." All ages are welcome. Weather permitting, this will be an outdoors event, so bring a blanket or low-profile lawn chairs. Concessions will be available.

A new ministry is beginning here at Wasatch! Practically any age or anyone can participate and it only takes a few minutes each week. I will be compiling an email list of those that would like to get the email each week that will contain a name of a Wasatch Hills member or someone associated with a member that will be given to us by our nurturing/caring committee. It will be someone that is especially in need of encouragement, cheer, or extra support. We will show we care by sending a card or note and filling their mailbox with love! Email Brenda Watson, brenda@wasatchhills.org to participate and I will put you on the list. I would love to have at least 50+ participants.
