Pastor's Post

I had an opportunity to visit another church this past Sabbath. I enjoy worship with other congregations. It gives me an opportunity to observe ministry, and be ministered to.
What I quickly found happening was a feeling of homesickness. I enjoyed the service, but I missed my family and my church family. There is something wonderful that comes when one worships with their own church family So, I've been thinking of you and praying for you. It's a blessing to be able to worship with an Adventist family almost anywhere I travel, but there is no place like home. As the longing to come home grows, I can't help but think of the longing that is growing in the heart of God. Just as I can't wait to be reunited with my wife and son, and my church family, I imagine God can't wait to be reunited with us. I believe that He looks forward to a time when we can fellowship together without the anchor of sin. I can't wait to be home, but more than that, I can't wait to go home!Pastor Adam Case

REMEMBER ACS IN YOUR OFFERINGS ~ HOUSTON FLOODING

Hundreds of people who have been devastated by Houston's massive flooding crisis are going to be helped by Adventist Community Services (ACS). A warehouse that could be used for accepting and distributing goods has already been located and Linda Walker, Southwest Region ACS Disaster Relief assistant, will be leading out in that operation. Texas Conference will be taking the Mobile Distribution Unit (a semi filled with prepackaged clothing outfits, personal care kits, clean up kits, blankets and sheets) to Houston and distributing emergency supplies to the flood survivors including many non-insured residents. The Master Guide Club members in Houston will also assist the various ACS operations.

Wasatch Love Letters

A new ministry is beginning here at Wasatch! Practically any age or anyone can participate and it only takes a few minutes each week. I will be compiling an email list of those that would like to get the email each week that will contain a name of a Wasatch Hills member or someone associated with a member that will be given to us by our nurturing/caring committee. It will be someone that is especially in need of encouragement, cheer, or extra support. We will show we care by sending a card or note and filling their mailbox with love! Email Brenda Watson, brenda@wasatchhills.org to participate and I will put you on the list. I would love to have at least 50+ participants.
