Sabbath School Changes Begin Sept. 12

Due to our attending demographics, and those willing to lead, we are making some changes in our Sabbath School department. They are as follows:
The Adult Quarterly class will move to the Sanctuary. (currently in 'Mother's Room')
The Young Adult class (ages 16 - 30ish) will meet in the Youth Room (room with couches)
The Earliteen class (ages 12 - 15) will meet in the 'Mother's Room'.
Note the new age parameters for the Earliteen and Young Adult groups.

Your children are personally invited to be a part of our exciting children's ministry programs. Plan on the 2nd Sabbath of each month during the school year dedicated to children's ministry for the kids and by the kids. Adventurers (ages 4-9) and Pathfinders (ages 10+) will be meeting from 1:15 - 3:30 p.m. with many fun things planned for the year. These are not exclusive clubs. We want you to be able to come and join in whenever you can. Try it out.
We'd love to have you!
2nd Sabbath of the Month schedule:
10 a.m. Combined VBS style Sabbath school (ages 4+)
11 a.m. Kid/Youth centered worship service
12:15 p.m. All-church fellowship lunch
1:15 p.m. Adventurer & PNGG club meetings

OPERATION SHOEBOX

Our annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox collection drive will take place in a just a few more months. This is a great time of year to start getting things to put in your box. The school sales are perfect for picking up crayons, pencils, notebooks, erasers, small pencil sharpeners and other school supplies at really inexpensive prices. So remember Operation Christmas Child while you are out there doing any back to school shopping.

This year's theme is Bloom Where God Planted You! The location is the N/U Conference office in Reno, NV with the hotel located across the street (Staybridge Hotel). The registration cost has been slashed to $40.00. Due by Sept. 20. Registration: 4-6 p.m. Fri., Oct. 3 Retreat begins at 7 p.m. 10475 Double R. NEW FEATURE! OFFERING BOXES

Beautiful wooden offering boxes (5 in all) have been installed in various spots in the sanctuary and the foyer area. These will take the place of an offering taken up during the worship service. Two are in the back of the sanctuary, one is on the foyer counter by the phone, and the other two are near the pews in the foyer.
