CONDOLENCES: to the Abraham-Benson family. One brother-in-law of Alice's passed away unexpectedly, and another brother-in-law has had a serious heart attack. These are uncles to Alice's daughters, Sara and Jamie. They have requested your prayers.
PRAISES! Ken Borg's latest PEP test showed no cancer present! Karen Borg would like to give thanks to God and to the Wasatch Hills family for their prayers!

Congratulations to Tamber Snarr, and husband, Jordan Beesley, on the birth of their 2nd son, Harrison "Harry" Snarr Beesley, born Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, at 8:06 a.m. Harry is 7 lbs. 5 oz., and 20 in. long. Everyone is doing fine!

Sunday, August 23
We will be going to the #1 Lakefront Pavilion site near the Juniper area at Rockport Reservoir starting at 8 AM until late afternoon. Parking is available for 25 vehicles at our site with overflow parking throughout the reservoir, so please carpool if possible. Everything is already paid for, so let the gate attendant know you are with the Wasatch Hills SDA Church and that you are going to the Lakefront Pavilion. Dogs on leashes are allowed at the site. Hotdogs/buns/condiments are provided for lunch, but please bring side dishes to go with the meal. Don't forget to bring beach chairs and umbrellas if desired, as well as sunscreen, hats, towels, water toys, etc.

CHURCH CAMPOUT

The Altamont site is located on the scenic Alpine loop on highway 92, connecting American Fork canyon and Provo canyon. This is likely the best group camping site in Utah, with a close view of Mount Timpanogos, excellent hiking trails, and a river running through the camp. The site is isolated from any other camping sites, and has many tent sites and plenty of RV and car parking. The large picnic table area is covered. The site has a 100 person capacity.

OPERATION SHOEBOX

Our annual Operation Christmas Child Shoebox collection drive will take place in a just a few more months. This is a great time of year to start getting things to put in your box. The school sales are perfect for picking up crayons, pencils, notebooks, erasers, small pencil sharpeners and other school supplies at really inexpensive prices. So remember Operation Christmas Child while you are out there doing any back to school shopping.
