  It's Amazing!

As I was going through my bedtime routine, I picked up my toothbrush and reached for the toothpaste. The tube was almost empty. By forcing the two ends together and squeezing, I was able to get a tiny amount of toothpaste out of the tube and onto my brush. I put the cap back on and set the empty tube on the counter.

Later on that evening my wife comes to me, not wanting to waste any toothpaste, and asks if I can get any more out of the tube. After I tell her, "no," I hear the sound of the toothpaste tube hitting the trash can.

The next morning I wake up and as I'm going through my morning routine, I reach for my toothbrush and what do I see, but a brand new tube of toothpaste.

It's amazing. Where does it come from? How did it get there? Who knew that we were almost out of toothpaste and would need more.

My wife, of course. She keeps track of these things and makes sure that we have the things we need, even these simple things. She is always on the lookout for the things that will make life easier for our family. Even a new tube of toothpaste.

In a small way this reminds me of someone else who anticipates our needs. God knows what we need, even before we do. In fact, the plan of salvation was put in place before sin even entered the world. What a great God we serve who anticipates our every need, who anticipates our greatest need.
