DCAC Partners with Morehouse iADAPT 2.0 Program

Dr. Pam Daniels described the goals of the iADAPT 2.0 Project at the April 28th DCAC meeting.  The Project will improve health outcomes of adults at risk for, or living with Type 2 Diabetes, by strengthening community and clinical linkages.  As part of iADAPT 2.0, over 400 Community Health Workers will be trained and a Community Health Worker (CHW) Resource Center in East Point will be established. To view Dr. Daniels' presentation, click here.

DCAC Co-Chairs Vicki Karnes and Glenda Knight will teach CHWs in the first iADAPT 2.0 Train-the-Trainer class.  Classes for CHWs will be held monthly beginning in July.  See iADAPT 2.0 Flyer.
