Improving Clinical Outcomes: Back to the Basics

Program Description: 

This educational activity will cover the latest trends in the care of patients with kidney disease. Topics on dialysis modalities, water treatments,cannulation,and basic dialysis care will be covered. Care of the AKI patient in the critical care units will be discussed. There will also be a discussion on the latest New York State Sepsis guidelines and how to balance medical care with daily life activities for those patients suffering from kidney disease.

 

 

Target Audience:

Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Dialysis Technicians

Pre-registration is requiredby Friday, April 25, 2014.

 

The fee for this conference is:

$25 for dialysis technicians; $40 for half-day program for RNs, LPNs and NPs and $75 for all-day conference for RNs, LPNs and NPs.

 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

 

 

 

Albany Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
