Our Special Olympics athletes at the 10th Special Olympics 2013 World Winter Games in South Korea, a public forum at Gallaudet University about Fulbright opportunities for persons with disabilities, and a number of other related events prompted me to write today's DipNote Blog entry about the State Department's longtime commitment to the human rights, dignity and inclusion of U.S. citizens and citizens abroad with disabilities.  Telling America's story cannot be complete - and no challenges can be fully addressed - without everyone's full involvement.  Inclusion isn't just the right thing to do. It's the smart thing to do.
