His wife got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all the beer. Tip of the Month I was trying to determine the size needed of quarter square triangles for a 12" block. I was unable to find a pattern that size, but in looking at my pattern books I discovered that you only need to add 1.25" to the size of the finished block. So, I cut my 13.25" squares, cut into four pieces, and they made perfect 12" blocks when pieced!

Classes are 1:00 - 3:00 on Saturdays

Classes are $50.00 each student.
Quilters who purchased new machines from S&B Quiltling Studio take classes without charge.
HandiQuilter educators have produced an instructional video on their new rulers - arcs, waves and ovals. Dozens of ideas are offered to create sashing, borders and blocks. In these two classes we will expand on the use of these new templates.
PB&J Quilt Retreat
Two days of "me" time. No cooking, no phone, no house work - just you, your friends, your sewing machine and lots of time to sew. Sound good?
P B & J Quilt camp, located just 12 miles from Pinckney is the place for you.
Sleeping arrangements are dormitory style in a cozy, quilt filled dorm room. All meals, snacks and beverages supplied. Sewing room with fireplace. You set the schedule. Sleep late, up all night? It's up to you. I hold quilt camp for 5-8 quilters. Friday around 3:00 til 2:00 on Sunday. Dates available starting in February. Call for details and reservations.
