 QUIK-BORE™ HDD Fluid System
Formulated for the HDD Industry
Baroid IDP has a new high yield bentonite product primarily used for tunneling and micro-tunneling in the HDD industry. QUIK-BORE™ bentonite displays higher viscosity at lower concentrations and can be used at a lower per mix/per tank cost. QUIK-BORE HDD fluid system can be purchased through any Baroid IDP Retailer.

QUIK-BORE™ Base Formulation under Brazos River
Field trial conducted to test QUIK-BORE™ HDD fluid system's viability for use in long distance bores
Baroid IDP assisted to create two formulations engineered for different formation types while drilling an 1800 foot borehole under the Brazos River in Waco, Texas. QUIK-BORE HDD fluid system in combination with Baroid IDP polymers, proved to be both effective and efficient in achieving the project goals.
