Welcome!

To Members of the YPD,

Please join me in welcoming our two newest dispatchers: Keisha Taliaferro and Roxane Rodriguez.

Keisha Taliaferro
Keisha, a lifelong resident of New Haven, started her training in June and has been working with our veteran dispatchers learning new skills. She has taken several state-mandated classes within the last month and will continue training with seasoned dispatchers for a few more months before she will work the dispatch desk independently.

Prior to the YPD, Keisha worked for seventeen years at New Haven Job Corps as an administrative assistant.  She has excellent organizational and communication skills that will come in handy as a dispatcher.  We are excited to have Keisha as a member of our team and wish her the best of luck.

Roxane Rodriguez
The YPD welcomes Roxane Rodriguez. Roxane started with us in May. She is responsible for answering service calls and dispatching emergency personnel to assist members of both the Yale and New Haven communities. Prior to joining the YPD, Roxane worked for American Medical Response (AMR) Ambulance Service in New Haven as a patient care report auditor & medical dispatcher. Let's all give her a warm welcome!

Sincerely,
