YPD Dispatchers Celebrate Milestones

To the Members of the YPD,

Join me in congratulating two of our Dispatchers Anthony Notarino (L) & Michael Granucci (R) who recently celebrated milestones at Yale. Anthony has 20 years of service with Yale and Michael has 10 years of service. They took a very fast break to get their photo taken proudly holding their service recognition awards in the YPD Dispatch Center.

Anthony started with the YPD as a casual in 1995 becoming a full-time dispatcher several months later.  He spent his first few years working the B-Squad shift eventually transitioning to midnights.  Our most senior dispatcher, Anthony has enjoyed working evenings or midnights throughout his career.  Prior to coming to Yale, he was a professional drummer and worked in the auto industry.

Michael has been one of our B-Squad dispatchers for the past decade.  He had several interesting jobs before coming to Yale including working in a factory making pasta, pasta sauces and dips and as stagehand at the former New Haven Coliseum and Shubert Theater.

I'd like to personally thank both of them for their dedicated years of service and wish they a happy anniversary with the hope of many more years to come!

Sincerely,

Ronnell A. Higgins
