Yale Security Welcomes Class of 2019

In late August, Yale University welcomed over 1,300 freshmen to campus. Yale security officers and managers were on hand or on the phone to help them with ID access, directions and information about our safety programs. We even had a booth on Old Campus during move-in that attracted students and their parents!  As always, the Yale security staff keep busy 24/7/365 welcoming, walking, driving and helping over 12,000 students.

From LtoR Manager Reggie Chavis, Yale Police Sgt. Sabrina Wood, Security Officer Shiara Figueroa, Manager Judy Landry & Officer Andre James greeted students during Freshmen Arrival on Old Campus.
Yale Security Officers Bill Hewitt & Lorenzo Byam greeted students & talked safety services at the recent Graduate & Professional School Info Fair. About 1000 Yale students attended this event. Security shared a booth with the Yale University Police Department. Our students learned about walking escorts, nighttime safe rides, ID access & what great people our security officers are!
