Security Officers Add Something Extra to YSM Reunion Weekend
 
The Yale School of Medicine Alumni Reunion Team happily welcomed the assistance of Security Officers Bob Keyes and Thomas Anderson during the May reunion weekend. The school welcomed over 300 alumni and guests back to campus to reconnect with Yale and friends.

The officers' desk at 333 Cedar Street  is literally in the middle of the registration area. Though this building entrance is usually quite busy on a normal day, it's a hub of activity during reunion weekend.  Many returning alumni have not been back to campus in a decade or more and need some help navigating the campus.

Officers Keyes and Anderson supplemented our own staff's customer service--directing guests on where to register, find the bathrooms or the next event, while keeping an eye out for the other students, faculty, staff and visitors entering the building. Our team appreciates the officers' friendly nature and patience with our guests helping them enjoy their time here in New Haven.

Summer Photo Issue

It has been a busy spring and early summer for Yale Security. Between training, regular duties, anniversaries, surprise recognitions and a rooftop BBQ, our officers and staff keep busy 24/7/365.

From LtoR Officers Bridget Furlow, Bill Hewitt, Charlie Hebron (class instructors) & Osbert Ingram conclude the 3-day bike certification class. Furlow and Osbert successfully received their IPMBA certifications.

1st Annual Shift Appreciation BBQ! Security Manager Reggie Chavis (L) with a little help from Officer Noel Cordero grilled lots of meats and some vegetable burgers for all three 2nd-shift crews.  He cooked for several hours feeding 50 grateful officers!
