Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring to speak at VBA meeting
Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring








The Commonwealth's top legal officer, Attorney General Mark Herring, will address VBA Annual Meeting attendees. His comments will kick off the general session on veterans issues, at 3:50 p.m. Friday in Colony Room E.

Before his election to AG, Herring worked to serve and protect Virginians as a state senator for eight years. A graduate of the University of Virginia with bachelor's and master's degrees, he earned a law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. Before he became attorney general, he maintained a law practice in Leesburg.

The VBA Veterans Issues Task Force has organized a distinguished panel for this general session. The speakers will discuss specific ideas to improve access to justice for our veterans. The session offers 1.5 MCLE credits.
