As most of you know, Hugh Fain completed his term as the 124th President of the VBA at our recent Annual Meeting in Williamsburg. I hope that when you receive this Hugh will be lying on a beach in the Caribbean enjoying a well-deserved vacation (with an umbrella drink in his hand!). I can tell you from first-hand observation that Hugh did a fantastic job as our President this year. He was a great leader, mentor, role model and friend to so many of us here at the VBA. He left the VBA a decidedly better, stronger and more effective organization than it was when he became our President. Our Board of Governors recognized Hugh's service with a Resolution of Appreciation.
If you see him on the street in Richmond or if you have a minute to shoot him a quick e-mail or a note, I hope you'll join me in thanking Hugh for a job extraordinarily well done.
