Register now for Micro Retreat - 11.20.14

Come on out to the annual Berkeley Microbiology Retreat and explore the breadth of exciting research with your fellow microbiologists from throughout the UC Berkeley campus and UC Berkeley's affiliated research institutes. 

The Retreat is sponsored by the Department of Plant & Microbial Biology, and microbiologists throughout the Berkeley community -- faculty, postdocs, students, affiliates and staff -- are invited to attend.

When: Thursday, November 20, 2014  9 am to 7 pm
Where: Tilden Regional Park - the Brazilian Room

$75 for faculty; $50 for postdocs, students, lab staff.
Registration / RSVP is required. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, October 24, 2014.

PMB Assistant Professor Position Open
          


The Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, has an opening for an Assistant Professor (tenure track, nine-month appointment) with an expected start date of July 1, 2015.

 

We seek applications for a faculty member who will develop an internationally recognized, extramurally funded research program with a focus on whole plant biology.
