About one-third of our rhinoplasty or nose surgery patients are 40 years old and over. Their nose has been something that has troubled or bothered them the majority of their lives and they simply decided to have their surgery at a later time in life.
There have been studies demonstrating that lowering a nasal hump and rotating the nasal tip can make a person look three to five years younger. This is quite evident in this patient's before and after photos. Rhinoplasty or a nose job is not just for teenagers and young adults. It is quite normal for many patients to have this procedure well into adulthood.
