Although they are small and may seem insignificant, earlobes can tell a lot about someone's age. As we mature, our earlobes will begin to thin and hang lower (especially after years of earring use). The piercing may start to tear and stretch and need repair.
Earlobe repair and earlobe reduction are commonly performed by Dr. Funk in the office under local anesthesia. The ear can be re-pierced 6-8 weeks after the procedure by Dr. Funk.
