Helping develop an award-winning speech

We are excited to have worked with U. S. Steel on an award-winning speech.  Delivered to the Economic Club of Minnesota last year, the speech recently won the top award in the "Executive Communications - Speeches" category from the Public Relations Society of America, Pittsburgh chapter.  Goff Public's writing team regularly helps clients develop compelling speeches and presentations.

Dorothy Day Center ReVision: Building on a successful model

Catholic Charities and its partners are seeking funding for the Dorothy Day Center ReVision, a plan to create a more dignified and effective way to serve the homeless. Over the past month, we filmed and produced a video demonstrating the differences between the deteriorating Dorothy Day Center in Saint Paul and the successful Higher Ground building in Minneapolis, which is the model for the ReVision project.

Q&A with WCCO's Jamie Yuccas

Minnesota School Counselors Association makes a splash

After Governor Dayton proclaimed the first week in February "School Counseling Week" in Minnesota, we helped our client - the Minnesota School Counselors Association - make a statewide media splash addressing the dire need for more school counselors.  Minnesota's school counselor-to-student ratio is one to 782, the third worst in the country.  See an example of coverage of this issue in the Mankato Free Press.

Ramsey County STEAM initiative featured on KARE 11

Our client Ramsey County has been working with Chippewa Middle School on a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) project related to efforts to redevelop the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant.  KARE 11's Kim Insley visited the classroom in February to film a "Cool in School" segment about the students' participation in a real-life master planning exercise.

Goff gives and climbs
The Goff Gives Team was all smiles before climbing 31 flights of stairs to support the American Lung Association on Saturday, February 22.  With help from many of our Goff Public clients and friends, our team raised $3,615, which will benefit people with lung diseases such as asthma, COPD, and lung cancer.
