Agape Meal: Please join us for an Agape Meal at 5:30 pm  in the Parish Hall on Thursday, March 24. Come enjoy lentil and/or tomato soup, along with hummus, goldfish crackers, and dried fruits.

Maundy Thursday Washing of the Feet and Eucharist: We will then continue our Maundy Thursday journey with the Washing of the Feet and Eucharist Service at 7:00 pm.

Vigil at the Altar of Repose:  Join the Vigil at the Altar of Repose in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd for an hour or more between the Maundy Thursday service and 8:00 am Good Friday. A parishioner will be present during the night to provide access through the outside doors. There is a signup sheet outside the Chapel. If two people are already signed up for an hour you want to be part of add your name, too, or just come. Spending an hour (or more) in the Chapel is a great way to bridge the gap between Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and help prepare for Easter.

Gratitude of the Irish: Members of Parish Life Ministries extend a hearty Thank You to all who made last week's well-attended St. Patrick's celebration such a success. Among them were Dawn Manke and Marq Swafford, who prepared the delicious Irish dinner; Steve Emry, who baked the bread; and Father Zac, who delivered a fun presentation. PLM members organized the event and purchased the food to make the evening a fundraiser for Outreach at St. Paul's.

Evensong: The beautiful Yamaha concert grand piano at St. Paul's will be heard in concert on April 3rd. Alexandre Dossin, Professor of Piano at the University of Oregon, comes to St. Paul's to play a concert of solo piano music by W. A. Mozart, Franz Liszt and Frederic Chopin. The concert will follow the service of Evensong which begins at 4:00 pm that day. The service and concert are open to the public. Donations to the St. Paul's Music Guild are gratefully accepted.

Old-Fashioned Bingo Night at St. Paul's: The fun of an old-fashioned bingo night - including dinner - is coming to St. Paul's on Friday, April 15. Childcare will be available.

A fundraiser for Parish Life Ministries, the evening will begin at 5:30 pm with a simple dinner of delicious stew, bread and dessert, a whimsical nod to this being tax-filing day. The cost of the dinner will be $5 per person or $10 for a family.

With purchase of a dinner will come a bingo card (or two cards for a family), with additional bingo cards available for $1 each. Bingo winners will receive fabulous prizes, treasures that Dick Kleen and Les Baston have discovered at estate sales. Prize values will range from $10 to $30 each with a grand prize slated for the "blackout" game.  Parish Life Ministries thanks the Knights of Columbus of Polk County for generously providing bingo equipment and callers.

SPARK (St. Paul's Arts and Rhythm for Kids)
will be exploring Kenya this year, and you are invited to join us! You can be part of the team leading fine art projects with the campers, telling stories, playing games, making music and more. July 11 - July 15 are the dates to mark on your calendar. Be aware that there are volunteer opportunities for those who have only one or two days to join us. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Megan Jones
