The last couple of months around the Bright Futures Joplin office have been a whirlwind of activity! It has been so much fun to be a part of the incredible work happening in Joplin. This is a fantastic team of people who are truly dedicated to kids and families.
Because of the commitment of this community, we were able to meet the needs of 162 students in the month of December! These are kids who will sleep a little better, grow a little stronger, and succeed just a little bit more in school this month. But more important than all of that - these are kids that know their community loves them!
Thanks for making what we do possible!

Bright Futures Council News
Welcome New Business Partners
Bright Futures Joplin is excited to announce that we have two new business partners who will be serving on our Bright Futures Councils! Conway Truckload will be partnering with the Early Childhood Center, and TILT Studio will be partnering with West Central Elementary.
We are so excited to have you on board! Please stop by these businesses and thank them for partnering with our schools.
We are looking for additional business partners at several of our schools to serve on their Bright Futures Councils. If you have a colleague that you think might be interested in serving, tell them all about how much you love it and send them our way.
Working Together To End Teacher-Funded Classrooms
Since last May, Bright Futures Joplin has been the lucky recipient of donations from the Joplin, MO Joann Fabrics Store. In these monthly donations, Bright Futures Joplin has received large amounts of needed school supplies. As a result, it's been possible to hold supply giveaways for teachers and administrators. These donations have been made possible through a partnership between Joann's and the Kids in Need Foundation
Together with awesome partners like Joann's, Bright Futures is working to help our
teachers not have to purchase supplies for their own classrooms. Special thanks to Carol Harris, the Manager of Joann Fabrics in Joplin who helped make this possible.
