Welcome to the ACC Sponsorship E-News
We would like to thank you for your continued support and contribution to the lives of the children in our sponsorship program. The funds raised help the homes we support provide shelter for destitute children, medical care, nutrition and education.
In the past few months some volunteers from Australia visited some of the homes and contributed time and skills to help out.
In Oct 2013, Mary Georgas and her daughter Yiana (from Sydney) , travelled to Bolivia to visit and volunteer at the orphanage Yiana was adopted from, Hogar Virgen de Fatima, in La Paz. They spent 3x weeks in Bolivia helping at the orphanage, caring, playing and feeding the kids. You can read more about their story on our website - click here

In December 2013, Neville and Joanne Smith (from Ballina) and their kids Rosa and Danny (both adopted from Bolivia), visited Bolivia and spent some time at the orphanage Hogar Carlos de Villegas helping out with the daily tasks. With the help of family, friends, the local church and the Richmond Christian College the Smiths raised $3600 for the orphanage which they took over with the. The funds were used primarily for food.
In March 2014, Colette Slingsby and Tania Millican (from Townsville), travelled to Podanur in India to volunteer at the FFC orphanage. Colette was also instrumental in raising funds for FFC which were used to upgrade the stimulation room.
