The ACC AGM was held on the 5th of March.

We welcome Andrew Robertson to the position of president.
Andrew has been a board member and treasurer for a number of years.  
A special thank you to Charlie Brisson, our outgoing president, for his 30+ years of dedication to ACC, 25 of which he held the position of president. Charlie will remain as a board member and will continue to work with the incoming president to ensure a smooth transition.

The position of Treasurer is still vacant. Andrew will be contacting potential candidates to discuss the possibility of taking on this position.

A special meeting will be held on the 26th of March at 8.00pm to make some amendments to our constitution. RSVP to  

Subscription reminders have been sent out over the past couple of weeks. Thank you to Sue Hancock for volunteering her time to do the mailout and thank you to Paul Brennan for his help in creating our new database to enable us to prepare the labels and letters. Your assistance in processing your subscription fee by return would be greatly appreciated.

Bolivia Revisited

Mary and Yiana Georgas have recently completed a trip of a lifetime, visiting Bolivia where Yiana was adopted from. They spent time volunteering at the orphanage and helping care for some of the children.

Mid Year Sausage Sizzle


Date: Sunday, 18th May 2014

Time: 11.00 am to 3.00 pm (lunch will start at 12 noon)

Location: Villa Maria Church Hall, Mary St, Hunters Hill

Cost: $20 per adult, $10 per child, including Sausage Sizzle lunch. (BYO Drinks.)

Volunteers will be needed on the day and we also need help making salads and cakes.

Please consider making a donation to ACC, and bringing a gift for the children in the orphanages. (These are sent with families when they travel.)
