As this month comes to a close let us celebrate the unveiling of the nine-foot statue of Rosa Parks in Statuary Hall on Capitol Hill, in Washington, DC. This is a glorious occasion as her statue will be the first of many African American women in the nation's capitol. We will never forget those who paved the way for us -- their words keeps us strong and focused.
