Land-Based Learning partners with Yolo County Office of Education to co-coordinate the Capital Region's CREEC (California Regional Environmental Education Community) Network. We help connect our region's teachers with high-quality environmental education resources. We also coordinate trainings for teachers and outreach providers on current topics. Please join us for two upcoming events:

Get Outdoors (GO) Network Summer Gathering
June 15, 9:00-1:00 at Grant Union High School's GEO Academy, Sacramento. This event is free. This is a networking and learning opportunity for anyone working to get youth outdoors, including school garden coordinators and volunteers! Tour the GEO Academy's Promenade and Garden, Learn how to incorporate NGSS into your outdoor program and help prepare your lunch in the GEO Café.
