The Masumoto's have been strong supporters of Land-Based Learning over the years and we are thrilled to be co-hosting this documentary about their farm and family with the Center for Asian American Media at the Oakland Museum of California.


Beer Week Farm to Fork Dinner a Success

We would like to thank Fabian's Italian Bistro in Fair Oaks and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company for partnering with us for a delicious beer week dinner. Chef Tom Patterson incorporated fresh produce and herbs from Land-Based Learning's West Sacramento Urban Farm and California Farm Academy Graduate Jay Cuff, owner of Hearty Fork Farm. The five course meal was paired with a variety of familiar and rare Sierra Nevada Brews.
