Jenny participated in the FARMS Leadership Program from 1995-1997, as a Winters High School student, just a few years after the program was founded. She stayed involved as a mentor to FARMS participants from 1997-1998. Then in 2001, when the SLEWS program was developed and FARMS Leadership became a program of the Center for Land Based Learning, she became a founding board member. "I vividly remember sitting at my desk in my Junior year dorm on my very first board call", Jenny remembers. Just last week Jenny Lester Moffit was tapped by Governor Brown to serve as deputy secretary for the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

Congratulations Jenny!!
