The Thunder Bay Marathon - Miles with the Giant is just around the corner!
Please take note of the following dates and information regarding race weekend preparations and activities.
RACE PARTICIPANTS Participant kit pick-up will be held in the Promotions Court at Intercity Shopping Centre, 1000 Fort William Road (use the Moxie's entrance area) as follows:
Friday, September 20: 4:00pm - 9:00pm Saturday, September 21: 9:30am - 6:00pm Participant kits MUST be picked up by 6pm Saturday as it includes full details regarding race rules, your race bib & timing chip (if needed), course particulars and other important information. RACE DAY! Sunday, September 22 The Finisher's Celebration Area at Prince Arthur's Landing Festival Area is the place to be. Bring the whole family to cheer on our participants and join the fun! Start/Finish Line is located at Prince Arthur's Landing Festival Area 7:55am Wheelchair start 8:00am Marathon & Marathon-Relay start 9:20am Tbaytel Half Marathon start 9:40am 10K start 10:00am Ontario Power Generation 5k Family Fun Run/Walk start 12:00noon Award Ceremonies Participants are encouraged to arrive on site a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your event start. Limited parking is available at Prince Arthur's Landing via the Pearl Street entry (overpass is closed) with additional parking available at the Pagoda Visitor Centre, behind the Water Street transit station and along open streets. Do not park on the Miles with the Giant route or you will be towed.For up-to-date information on race weekend activities visit our website.
