Greetings!

A number of organizations will now be actively promoting the GrassrootsHealth D*action project on their websites in order to help increase enrollment in the project and, to help continue 'Moving Research into Practice'.
We would like to see this link spread to many sites! If you have such a site or know some group that would be interested, please let us know and we can get them setup quickly. Contact Jen Aliano, Project Manager.
From the Vitamin D Council's newsletter: "April is a perfect month to start you and family members in this project. It's the time of the year when you would likely have your lowest vitamin D levels and you can see how much action you may need to take to make sure you're getting enough vitamin D."
Your Data, Your Answers
SEASONALITY OF VITAMIN D
Does your vitamin D level vary by season?
Does vitamin D intake vary by season?
What changes did people make from their 1st test to their second?

Key Points:
- Test annually, ideally in April/May
- Do 2nd test after baseline to confirm serum level in the 40-60 ng/ml (100-150 nmol/L) range

Family members need to be checked, too. Please help them take advantage of this project to do an April test and spend a few minutes (10-15) to share their health information. It can matter to them and, to public health of many.
Thanks so very much for your active participation in this D*action project. It is an opportunity for us all to truly save lives.
