With school back in full swing, Halloween here, and the holiday season quickly approaching, it is a great time to keep your health on track!
The Great American Smokeout, November 15th.
Most women who smoke say they want to quit. So how do you move from wanting to quit to actually quitting? A first step is to find reasons to quit that are important to you. Consider the many good reasons to quit smoking: * Your health begins to improve the minute you stop smoking, and you begin to lower your long-term risk of many smoking-related diseases, including lung disease, cancer, and heart disease. * You will breathe more easily and have more energy. * You will look and feel healthier overall. * Your hair, breath, and clothes will smell better. * You won't need to leave your workplace, your home, or other places to smoke. * You won't need to worry about whether your smoke is bothering others or harming their health. * The money you would have spent on cigarettes can be saved or used for something else. The Women's Health Group is pleased to announce that Dr. Kimberly Hayes is our newest provider in the Lafayette office!
She comes to us with private practice and hospital medical faculty experience in Kansas City, Missouri and Fort Collins, Colorado. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is experienced in the continuum of women's healthcare.
She also is skilled in helping patients navigate the sometimes complex healthcare system. Dr. Hayes is accepting new patients and even has some patients who come from Fort Collins to continue their care with her!
