Just Think Outside
...the place for creativity
Welcome

The purchase of a coffee grinder led to the creation of a 1950s era town called Memory Lane.

When Otis and Kathy Eldridge purchased a coffee grinder from a country store that was going out of business they discovered many more treasures that were for sale. They purchased almost two truckloads worth.

Otis and Kathy then looked for the best way to display these treasurers and decided to construct their own country store. That led to the purchase of other antiques. And then to buildings including an old diner from Marion Virginia where Otis used to eat when he was in the service.

The Eldridges open up their town to the public one day each year on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. The Memory Lane car show takes place the same day and over 1,000 cars and their owners take part in the show.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to travel down to "Memory Lane".

Take care,

Jeffrey
