Happy New Year from the Army's Army

Dear Army's Army Partners and Members,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I wanted to take a few minutes to reflect on 2011 and truly thank you for your continued dedication. With your help, we were able to fulfill our mission of supporting the military, veterans and their families within the Fayetteville/Cumberland County community and beyond.

The media took notice of our efforts and helped spread our message of support for our soldiers. I’ve included a brief summary of some of our efforts below, as well as links to select press placements.

Here’s looking forward to 2012, as we work together to continue fulfilling our mission of “watching over those who watch over us.”

Enjoy!

Purple Heart Recipients Honored at Taekwondo Tournament - February
The American Taekwondo Association (ATA) Martial Arts of Fayetteville dedicated its 2011 Hometown Heroes: Regional ATA Martial Arts Tournament to the local chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. You provided on-site even support for 600 spectators and competitors, as well as giving Purple Heart recipients in attendance the special VIP treatment they deserved throughout the weekend’s activities.
