Volunteers Needed! Heroes Homecoming!
Dear Army's Army Members,
Thank you for your continued commitment! The Army’s Army needs your help! We are only days away from one of the biggest events in Fayetteville/Cumberland County. I am talking about the Veterans Day Parade! This event will take place on Saturday November 12th at 11:00 a.m. It will be the most visible of all the Heroes Homecoming events. The parade is the perfect opportunity to come together in a public display of support and finally say "thank you' to these deserving veterans.
All Vietnam vets are invited to take part by marching in the parade. We want to make sure the streets of downtown Fayetteville are overflowing with thousands and thousands of Vietnam vets and supporters. We will need lots of help from our volunteers for this event. We are asking our volunteers to come to the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at 10:00 a.m. that morning to join us by holding up thank you signs to our vets during the parade.
