PIES FOR PATRIOTS: AN MWR EVENT TO CELEBRATE THE FALL SEASON AND SHOW THE ARMY'S ARMY SUPPORT TO OUR MILITARY FAMILIES
Dear Army's Army members -
On November 6, 2009, MWR is hosting its annual Pies For Patriots, to distribute pumpkin pies (donated by Harris Teeter) to military families. Festivities will begin at 9 am at Fort Bragg Fairgrounds and volunteers are requested to be there at 8 am to help set up.
Volunteers responsibilities entail packing cases of pies (10 pies per case) into vehicles, which requires bending and lifting mobility. The event will end when all the pies have been dispersed.
If you are interested in helping The Army’s Army show support for our military neighbors, please email me at ddean@armysarmy.com. We are looking for at least five volunteers to help staff this event.
