Volunteers Needed for Salute to Armed Forces
Dear Army's Army members -
This Saturday, on July 11, there will be a Salute to the Armed Forces concert at Campbellton Landing. The Embers will be performing, and items will be collected to send to deployed soldiers.
We have a couple needs for volunteers for the event, and all volunteers will receive a free ticket for you and a family member. Please see the below volunteer descriptions and reply if you are able to help out.
1. We need volunteers to help collect items for deployed soldiers. Volunteers should be available from 5-9 p.m. to help with the collection.
2. We need volunteers to help with parking control at the event. Volunteers should be available at 5 p.m. to help with direct traffic into the venue and at midnight to help direct traffic out of the venue. Volunteers will help before and after the performance and are free to enjoy the concert.
If you are unable to volunteer, but are interested in attending the concert, tickets are $10 in advance here or $15 at the gate. And don't forget your donation for care packages to deployed servicemen and women. We're collecting DVD movies, disposable cameras, travel size baby wipes, playing cards, hackey sacks and travel size tissues. Each person who donates an item will receive a ticket for a free hot dog or soda.
