Picnics, Spring, Easter, the Beach.  Our respites of warm, sunny weather have us pining for the outdoors. Here. There.  Wherever we can get out under a blue sky.

Our recent shipments have brought lovely new Spring fashions to enjoy those outdoor jaunts.  Well, actually, to enjoy indoors too.  Unpacked recently?  More FLAX linens, Chalet super-soft bamboo/cotton knits, Winter Sun hand-painted cottons, Tianello fun-and-packable knits, Dolma cotton tunics, URU silks, Nallie & Millie knits along with great separates from Nomadic Traders, Habitat and Cut Loose.  Then there's tons of K.Bell spring socks for men and women, San Diego Hat Company summer hats, and more scarves, accessories and gifts.  It's been quite the unpacking week!

With our Egggstravaganza eggs-in-a-basket, draw-your-own-discount sale this weekend, you can stock your closet full of new Spring clothing, fill those Easter baskets and pack for upcoming adventures.  15 - 50% off.  Now there's something to bring some sunshine to your day!

To The Beach!

On a particularly gloomy day, we decided we needed a new themed display. How about "the beach"? Yes, please.

Our customers are rock stars!
Eileens Daughter
After our rock star St. Patrick's puppet parade, Eileen convinced her daughter Lydia to try on one of our new arrivals.  Paired with her jeans, we all agree Lydia is gorgeous in this fun tunic. (Actually we all agree she's just gorgeous no matter what she's wearing!)

Now who's our next rock star?  Let us help you find a fun new outfit and share your picture too!

Della and I just returned from the StyleMAX clothing show in Chicago.  Ordering exciting new cozy sweaters, coats and accessories for next Fall/Winter.  Chicago felt like winter so we had no trouble imagining what we'll need Snow in Chicago come Fall.  In fact, as we left the show Tuesday afternoon, this is the scene that greeted us on the way out.

Not to worry.  I had a good heavy coat; Della had boots. Too bad we each didn't pack both coats AND boots.  We trekked through snow and jumped over slush (well, most of it).  Nothing, and I mean nothing, keeps us from finding fun fashions and accessories for seasons to come.

In the meantime, we're glad to be back in Kansas City and look forward to sunshine this weekend.  And eggs in baskets.  And eggs being popped open with discounts inside.

What's in your egg?  Come choose your egg to see. Enjoy a special discount . . .
