Back from our buying trip to the clothing shows in Las Vegas and time to go on "walkabout" through the store. Beautiful spring colors throughout. Scarves to add that extra bit of warmth we need every other day.
Click on any of the pictures to see many more. Between last week and this week, we've filled our clothing racks with new Spring fashions. Nomadic Traders, Habitat, Pleats, Dragonfly, Citron, and Tianello. FLAX and Match Point are due in at the end of this week.
Since we're tired of the cold, we just gathered up birds and dragonflies and other signs of Spring. Bring it on!
Continuing to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Sheep with a front window filled with blessing and good luck symbols and gorgeous silk Citron tunics.
And a new display of African and other tribal folk art wows us and causes us to fall in love again with all the wonderful textures, symbols and colors.

Hiking Las Vegas
|
As we head out to the many Las Vegas clothing shows, we take along super comfortable shoes for all the walking of aisles as we search for new fashions that we're sure you'll love. We cover miles between showrooms and venues. We write orders and connect with friends we've made over years of buying.
The other kind of hiking in Las Vegas? Red Rock Canyon. Lonnie and Jan landed in Las Vegas early on Valentine's Day to spend the day in our favorite Las Vegas activity - hiking.
Our "moderate" hike took us from level desert sand trails to scrambling up rocks to reach a fabulous panoramic view of the Las Vegas valley below.
A perfect blue sky day. Just a half-hour away from the strip and yet a life-time away. We highly recommend it. And take hiking shoes.

Our staff are rock stars!

On those cold, cold days when we don't see as many of our wonderful customers, our staff try on outfits and become the rock stars of the day. Alicia chose an outfit that reminded her of the carefree, warm days of a recent trip to Mexico. She is definitely channeling Summer! Connie dressed all in blue to reflect the blue skies on a recent cold, cold day.
