The first lecture is THIS WEEK so click here now for details.

One word to describe the new arrival of furniture - WOW!

furniture

Mid-century modern leather chairs and sofa from S. Christian of Copenhagen purchased in the 70's, near-new couches and love seats from Los Altos Design and Interiors, fabulous Oriental carpets, Imari lamps and so much more. Come see. They're on the floor now and won't be around for long!

Don't be Late!

Perhaps you didn't enroll in Medicare when you "should have" enrolled?

People who did not enroll in Part A or Part B at age 65; or upon retirement; or for those who terminated their benefits, may enroll in Part A and/or Part B during  the General Enrollment Period which is January 1st to March 31st of each year. If you enroll during this time frame, your benefits will begin the following July 1st. Be aware . . .  you may have to pay the Part B late enrollment penalty.

THANK YOU!

A great big THANK YOU to everyone who attended the first-ever South County Trashion Show on Thursday, February 11 at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds. It was a huge success!

More thank 300 guests attended this fun filled show featuring 26 unique outfits made by local artists. All dresses/menswear were made from recycled/re-purposed everyday materials such as paper and plastic bags. Additionally there were three trash pits at the event. Everyone was there to help raise funds to support critically needed senior services and programs in South County. These services are provided at no cost in English and Spanish.

We are especially grateful to our Trashion Show Committee members for their hard work in organizing the event. Our thanks also to our sponsors for their tremendous support to the Alliance on Aging

Stay tuned for upcoming information about the Salinas Trashion Show in September.

For information about how you can participate or assist with the Trashion Show, please call 831-655-1334.
